Real-Life Disney Princess Signs with Powerhouse East West Literary Agency

You read that right! Former real-life Disney Princess and multi-hyphenate creator Niki Roseman set ​to add “author” to her many titles with East West Literary Agency

Los Angeles, California- If you ever wondered what a Disney Princess turned author ​would look like, look no further- Niki Roseman, former Disney Princess performer, ​television producer, director, and owner of Sherbet Sky Studios, is thrilled to ​announce her partnership with East West Literary Agency to bring fresh, fun, and ​heartwarming stories to the bedtimes of the children she once loved to perform for.

“I am so thrilled that East West shares my vision in telling stories that little ones feel ​seen in”, says Roseman, age 28. Roseman brings a unique perspective to the ​children’s book space, having grown up with a sibling on the autism spectrum and ​suffering from anxiety herself. But that Disney magic and positivity shines through: “If ​there were books out when I was young that showed characters like me, or like my ​brother, in a positive light, growing up would’ve been so different. I wasn’t even ​diagnosed until age 23.” But Roseman is passionate about helping neurodiverse kids ​better understand themselves and learn how to grow with and through their ​diagnoses. “I am so excited to help kids and families understand that ’flaws’ can be ​superpowers through some fresh and imaginative storytelling!”

Roseman may be a first-time author, but she is not new to the children’s space. ​Growing up as a working actor in Los Angeles, Roseman spent 9 years of her career ​with the Walt Disney Company, entertaining children and portraying many of their ​favorite famous princess characters on stage and doing meet-and-greets as Princess

She now is a director/producer and ​owns Sherbet Sky Studios, a budding production company based in LA making ​content that “sparks the fire for family conversations that help little ​minds grow, play, ​fail, and succeed!”

Roseman, East West’s founder and owner Deborah Warren, and EWA Angel Tyree ​Johnson met at Kidscreen 2024 in San Diego, where a partnership unfolded very ​quickly. All members of Women in Toys, a handshake agreement was made over the ​WiT Cocktail Hour, proving that organizations like WiT and Kidscreen have the power ​to change people’s lives with their networking opportunities. “We immediately clicked. ​Deborah and Angel are such brilliant women”, says Roseman.

All three women believe that now, more than ever, it is crucial to help children become ​emotionally literate. “As we all grow to understand mental health more, we learn that ​so much of our psyche is shaped by our childhood experiences. So it’s our ​responsibility to help make those experiences as positive as possible, especially for ​kids who feel different. Who wants to be ‘normal’ anyways?”, Roseman laughs.

“Making children smile has always been the biggest joy of my life- whether it’s with a ​song on a stage, a giggle shared from a show I’ve written, or now, with a special story ​that they can read over and over again,” says Roseman. “East West is the perfect ​agency for me because they share this passion.
